What will be the hot new trends in kitchen design for 2020?

From glossy finishes to concrete colours, we take a look at the next big things and the perennially popular.

Create sleek lines with a handleless kitchen

Clean and precise. The minimalist look of a handleless kitchen is not only visually stunning – it’s highly practical.

Make efficient use of space with the straight lines of handleless cabinets and drawers. There are no extending knobs or handles to take into consideration. Instead, you can enjoy a smart, uncluttered look with an uninterrupted flow.

Doors and drawers open easily with integrated recess handles or a push mechanism. Your cabinets and drawers now take up less room and doors are easy to wipe clean with no crevices for dirt to gather.

Concrete colours and glossy finishes

Natural concrete grey is a popular choice in the colour palette. And with layers of putty greys, you can create a monochromatic textural look that’s both subtle and stylish.

Gloss is still the first choice for many when it comes to kitchen design. Black, white, greys or warmer brown or cream tones, you can match and contrast work surfaces and cabinets to great effect with high gloss finishes.

The reflective finish of gloss adds dimensions to a kitchen and brings an ultra-modern feel.

The must-have Bora hob

Why have a hob and a hood? Bora air venting induction hobs combine two appliances in one. The result is a stylish hob that maximises on space.

The Bora hob gives you a powerful cooking range that works with a highly effective extractor. This practical unit is the first of its kind and offers both functionality and innovative and stylish design.

The versatile Quooker hot tap

The Quooker tap offers hot, cold and 100°C boiling water from a single tap. And there’s now a new optional upgrade that lets you add chilled and sparkling water to your tap.

You can install a Quooker tap on your worktop, or even alongside an existing kitchen tap. You then have a separate Quooker tap for boiling water and a normal mixer tap for hot and cold water.

The Quooker hot tap also has a flexible pull-out hose that makes it easy to clean the sink or wash items that are usually just that little too big or awkward to rinse.

The perennially popular kitchen island

As a standout centrepiece, the kitchen island always delivers. It offers an additional, versatile workspace that can be used in a number of different ways.

Your island can act as an informal eating area, a divider to separate the working side of your kitchen from the relaxing side, or as an integral part of the cooking process.

You could decide to inset a sink or cooking hob into the island. Or it can be a useful extension to your food preparation area, allowing you to indulge your passion for culinary creation.
